How Often Should You Clean Your Comforter?

We still have a bit of winter weather left, so now is as good a time as any to enjoy a freshly cleaned comforter before the final send off to the linen closet until next season. Believe it or not, many people do not know how often you should wash bedding, particularly when it comes to comforters, duvet covers, and quilts. Do you know?

Don’t worry; ZIPS has the answer!

Comforters, duvets, and quilts not only provide us the final layer of warmth at night, but they also serve as a barrier from everyday dust and dirt. ZIPS recommends cleaning your comforter at least 2-3 times a year, or even more if you suffer from allergies or have pets.

Also, don’t let that accidental coffee or juice spill hang around. Patting down the area with a dry paper towel will soak up much of the liquid, but the stain can remain. Therefore, it’s always important to get it cleaned as soon as possible to avoid a permanent spot on your favorite bedspread.

Avoid the dreaded cleaning of a comforter (and trying to stuff it into a home washer). Our machines are designed to clean any-size comforter, even a California King. ZIPS has you covered.

Bring your comforters to any ZIPS location and have them professionally cleaned for only $19.99 each. Any size, any quantity. Duvets and quilts are only $19.99 too! Blankets and Sleeping Bags are just $14.99 each.

And by the way, if there is a stain, just mention it to us at drop off. We’ll make sure to give that area some extra TLC.
